DUBROVNIK
Once you set your eyes on the ancient city walls elevated above the turquoise Adriatic Sea, you will understand why Dubrovnik, once the capital of the mighty sea-faring Republic of Ragusa, is now on the UNESCO list of World Heritage sites. We will take you down the glittering streets covered with limestone, show you where to have a memorable meal and let you explore the amazing history of its stone baroque buildings. You might want to choose to visit the enchanting Lokrum island from the town harbour or let us take you on a private speedboat tour around the mesmerising Elaphite Islands.
HVAR
This Dalmatian island south of Split is best known as the summer hotspot for the fans of nightlife and spectacular beach parties. However, Hvar island offers so much more, from fascinating historical sites to charming landscapes that need to be on your Croatia bucket list. Walk down the rustic cobblestone streets, spend a day cruising the nearby Pakleni Islands and watch the sun sinking behind the white-washed walls of the Town of Hvar.
SPLIT
Let us show you why the Roman Emperor Diocletian chose Split to build his lavish retirement palace over two thousand years ago. We’ll take you through this amazing fortress, now the heartbeat of Split’s old town, its beautiful Peristyle, formerly the palace’s central courtyard, and the 13th-century St Domnius Cathedral, originally Diocletian’s mausoleum. Discover hidden gastronomic gems in the narrow streets of the UNESCO protected historical complex of Split and enjoy a glass of wine on Riva, Split’s seafront promenade, overlooking sunset over the stunning bay of Split.
KRKA
On its route to the Adriatic Sea, the River Krka created breath-taking multi-layered waterfalls, picturesque lakes and gorges, now a part of the astoundingly beautiful Krka National Park, only an hour drive from the city of Split. Explore scenic trails through forests and past streams, breath in fresh air next to a roaring waterfall, take a refreshing swim in one of Krka’s peaceful lakes and seek out historical monasteries and old mills.
ZADAR
Many travellers visiting Croatia overlook this architectural and cultural gem set on a small peninsula. We advise you not to do the same. Zadar, home of medieval churches and Roman ruins, offers plenty of historic sites and excellent museums to explore, but also provides unexpected sound-and-light attractions on the edge of the Zadar waterfront. Listen to the “Sea Organ”, a giant harmonica played by the sea while dancing on a big solar-powered dancefloor known as the “Monument to the Sun”. You may also choose to relax on one of the nearby island’s incredible sandy beaches.
PLITVICE
UNESCO World Heritage Site Plitvice Lakes National Park contains 16 emerald green interconnecting lakes, all stunningly beautiful. Plitvice are best known for their countless cascading waterfalls of all sizes and heights, which you are likely to meet at every turn, leading you to “Veliki Slap”, the biggest waterfall in Plitvice. One day will not be enough to soak in all the beauties of it, but we’ll help you plan it so you can make the most of the place that many call heaven on Earth.
ZAGREB
Croatia’s capital offers a completely different picture of Croatia than the coastal cities travellers usually visit on their trip to Croatia. Zagreb’s cityscape is an interesting mixture of classic Austro-Hungarian architecture and modernist communist architecture. It is big enough to offer a full range of diverse sights and attractions for everyone, but also compact enough to be explored on foot. This makes it perfect for exploring. Moreover, within an hour’s drive, you can be hiking mountains, exploring Croatian castles or eating exceptional food at one of the village family households.
